As more and more North American companies are realizing that the best English in Asia is not in India, they are now, more than ever, looking at the Philippines to move their outsourced call center services.  The trend is to transfer more if not all of the seats in India to the Philippines.

Call center jobs are very rewarding and promising.  The pay his hefty because the demand is stiff such that it overcomes the supply for call center manpower.  Not only that.  The competing call center companies are more than ever trying to outbid each other by offering more benefits and more perks to the agent.

The average entry-level call center basic pay rate now is around P15,500.  That’s basic only.  Add the benefits and the perks and it will come out to be around P20,000-30,000 depending on the position.  This is huge already to a new graduate since the typical office worker working 9-6 is about P9,000 basic plus benefits of about P2,000.

So you see, getting a call center job is very rewarding.  However, we will discuss not only the good but also the bad “thingy” the call center agent jobs.  You will learn more as we blog on.
